The next Melbourne Scala meeting is a week away on Monday 22nd August,
at our usual venue VLSCI in Carlton, from 6pm for a 6:30 start.
- Ken Scambler will be presenting a roundup of Scala-related news and
developments from the last couple of months.
- Branko Juric will be presenting his Scala implementation of the
"Travelling Salesman" problem, including Scala unit tests, and
contrasting it with a Java version.
And then we plan to head across Bouverie St to the pub for a beer.
Hope to see you there,
-Ben

VLSCI is at 187 Grattan St, one block off Swanston St on the corner of
Bouverie St. It opposite the main campus of Melbourne Uni. There's
fairly easy parking in Bouverie St in the evening.
Go to the main ground floor entrance and ring the door bell. If you
have problems finding it, call me on 0423 879 534.
See you next Monday,
-Ben
Hit google maps and search for Bouverie street, Carlton - look at the
north end of the street, and it's over the road from the Prince Alfred
Hotel.
If you look on Streetview, it (confusingly) has "Nassal Institude for
Global Health" written on the building.
