Subject: JAX London Conference and Community Night - Next Week

Hi All

Lizzie from JAX London has sent me/us a timely reminder that JAX London is
next week and if you still want to do (and you will after reading this)
then we have some *promotional discount*

*
*

*(1 day) JL12JHA (-£50)*

*(2 days)JL12JHB (-£75)*

*(3 days) JL12JHC (-£100)*

*
*

The full timetable is at http://jaxlondon.com/2012/timetable

And to save time, the Scala sessions are:

Scala in Action - Heiko Seeberger

Improving MapReduce: Scala and GridGain To The Rescue! - Nikita Ivanov
MongoDB on the JVM - Brendan McAdams
Scaling up and out with Akka - Heiko Seeberger
Play Framework 2 - Peter Hilton

and some of the non-scala sessions look very interesting.

*JAX London Community Night - Tuesday 16th Oct*

*
*

*Jax London will also be hosting a Community night that will be opening its
doors to the entire Java *(I think they mean Scala)* Community. Even if
your members cannot attend the Conference we would still love to see them
at the Community Night! The Community Night allows attendees the
opportunity to network with speakers and company representatives, as well
as other members of the Java *(Yes, they do mean Scala)* Community. Entry
is free of charge, all you need to do is register! Beer and snacks will of
course be provided!*

*
*

Registration http://www.amiando.com/jaxcommunitynight.html and Heiko is
hosting the scala table, so that will be fun. :-)

Should be a good event so hope to see you there
Andy
