Fantastic news, always good to hear of more people using Scala!
I'll have to go with email then. I suspect you're in the USA, so time zones are always going to be frustration on the phone, landlines are too expensive, and skype is mixed quality. (not to mention that most developers have just a hint of aspergers, talking is rarely our strongest skill)
To be totally honest, I must admit that the account hasn't exactly been used "in anger" yet, partly because we're still figuring what best to do there, and partly because I seem to be both the main driver and devoted father of an almost 1 year old baby girl...
The plans so far are aiming towards scala 2.8 + lift, which means maven and is therefore a real pain in the proverbial to combine with Google's GAE plugin under eclipse. This is one of the main issues that drove the search for an alternate hosting solution and ultimately led to stax, so possibly it's one angle you could take in marketing the product :)
For possible improvements, I also struggled at first to figure how additional developers could be added to the account. Obviously I figured it out or you wouldn't have sent this mail, but I do recall that it was hard to find at the time.

Hi Kevin,
I was doing a review today of accounts created recently that had multiple users and the account you created back on 3/19 caught my attention. I'd really appreciate hearing any feedback you have about the service and what we could do to better fit for your immediate interests and needs.
Feel free to drop me an email with your thoughts about Stax (no matter how short) or even give me a ring if it would be a more convenient way to do quick brain dump.
Thanks,
Spike
BTW, we happen to use Scala internally (I noticed you were a Scala
enthusiast), so I know Scala works very well on the platform if
you didn't get a chance to try it out.
