Hi, I'm having problems updating to the nightly build. I've selected
"Install new software" in Eclipse and entered the URL from the nightlies
page http://download.scala-ide.org/nightly-update-master-29x.

It then says it cannot complete, with the error message below. Can someone
advise me how to update? Thanks.

Hi Luigi,

I'll have to look closer to understand what's going on.

As a workaround, can you try to first uninstall the Scala IDE and then try to re-install it using the URL you mentioned in your email. If it doesn't work, could you please paste here the list of plugins you have installed after uninstalling the Scala IDE: About > Installation Details, just select all bundles and copy.

OK, I have uninstalled (had to also uninstall ScalaTest and Worksheet at
the same time, then JDT weaving), re-installed from the nightly, and
re-installed ScalaTest and Worksheet from the milestone site. It now seems
to be working!

I was a bit worried about uninstalling since on my other machine it stopped
Eclipse from starting when I tried that.

Great. However, we should still get to the bottom of it. To avoid I/we forget to look into this, could you please file a ticket here: http://scala-ide-portfolio.assembla.com/spaces/scala-ide/support/tickets

Your first email should be enough as a description, maybe also mention that you had the worksheet + scalatest installed.
