Persistent issue with scala/tools/eclipse/ScalaToggleBreakpointAdapter in both 3.7 and 4.2

Hi,

since a few weeks the following dialog appears every time I open a Scala file:

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
scala/tools/eclipse/ScalaToggleBreakpointAdapter

Is this a known problem?

I already deleted my .eclipse dir in the home folder, the .metadata dir in my worspace and the whole IDE installation and installed it anew, but the issue remains.

Can someone help me to debug this issue? (For instance it says “See error log for more details.”, but my error log doesn't load at all and displays the following error: Could not create the view: Could not initialize class com.ibm.icu.text.SimpleDateFormat)
