My talk is best for those coming to FP-scala from OOP. Eugene's awesome tutorials (http://www.eed3si9n.com) are best for those with a more sophisticated FP background, e.g., Haskell.

FYI the slides and "cheatsheet" are at https://github.com/arosien/scalaz-base-talk-201208.

I really enjoyed your talk, it can serve as the gateway drug to get into scalaz. Or a prerequisite to Eugene's tutorials as it quite clearly shows why the learning curve is worth it.

I am watching this now, and really enjoying it.
Better intro than my "let's talk about typeclasses" approach.

Great presentation, really like it.
Nice reminder that Scalaz is not just about functors and monads :)

Thanks!

I agree... that is a quite good way of starting with scalaz; I have sent to some of my avoid-scalaz colleagues :)
