As the third Thursday of this month is a day off, we are going to do it on the 4th Thursday. So it will be on Thursday, 24th of May from 18:30 to 21:30.
This session is presented by Jean-Luc Chasseriau and will be about "GIT in action". After a quick presentation, we are going to use GIT to commit Scala code and see the different usages.

Just wanted to thank you guys for the good time last night at the Scala Enthusiasts Group. It was interesting to see what Jean-Luc found to be most interesting with regards to GIT.
I wish I could have stayed longer but I had woken up at 5:30 AM and got home at 11:00 pm in the end so I decided it was wisest to leave when I did.
I will be back again soon. I think I am out of the country next month during the group meeting but I will be back when I can.

It wasn't Scala, but it was very interesting nonetheless.
I still haven't got the full workflow straight in my mind, and in
particular the moveable tag/branch problem. I come from a world where
people (mostly) don't tag & branch correctly in the first place, so having
moveable tags (without a trace somewhere) seems to be asking for problems,
at least in my context.

Moreover, specially for Jesse and Carlo who couldn't follow the best part for experienced Git users, here are few links about Git internals and Git workflows. These documents are very interesting and quick to read too!
