Hi everyone,

Just a notice that the meeting tonight will actually be in a slightly
different location at LinkedIn than we usually use at LinkedIn - the
normal room was booked so we will be meeting in the main LinkedIn
building instead, I have updated the map on the [link]

That sounds like a volunteer to me :-). If you could put the feelers
out and line up at most 2-3 lightning talks for meetings, that would
be most welcome. Would you like 5 minutes at the beginning of
tonight's session to announce the idea and call for participants?

I enjoy technical meetings where there are a few lightning talks. I
suggest that we have lightning talks, at least occasionally. I’d like
to see us have activities (such as that) where we get to know each
other more.

If you can make it to the downtown Mountain View Caltrain station
(6:36pm), I can come pick you up (and drop you back at the station
after the meetup).
Got room for 3.

I worked at LinkedIn so it's not a problem to drive down there and back.

Hi Everyone

For this month's meeting we will not be doing the Port-a-thon as
previously hoped - the 2.8 eclipse plugin is not quite ready for that
level of testing yet, so we will push that idea out until another
time. Instead, David Pollak kindly volunteered to give an update on
Lift, and in particular some new features like a multi-page

I believe Google maps will give you a pretty good suggestion regarding
public transportation options (and the train schedule too).

I live next to you in Albany and I'm tentatively planning to go (and
drive). The kicker is that I would probably leave from Albany, not SF
(I work in SF, too, but I need to be back in the east bay prior to
heading down for kid/family stuff). If that works for you, though, I'd
be happy to take you door to door both ways, and if anyone else is in

The old "Castro" Caltrain stop that used to be at Rengstorff Ave
hasn't been there for many years.
There are two stops in Mountain View: San Antonio and Mountain View
(downtown Mtn View, Castro St.).
I think walking from San Antonio is about 3 miles, from downtown Mtn
View it's 2.5 miles.
Probably a lot more than you want to walk.
