We now have an update on the topic of this month's meeting:

This month we are delighted to welcome Harryh from Foursquare to talk
about:

An overview of Lift as used by foursquare.

Issues with having a 50% Lift / 50% PHP based site while porting to
Lift.

The rationale for choosing scala/lift.

Some of the production related issues faced with Scala/Lift.

Useful scala/lift idioms in use at foursquare.

Production/scaling issues we faced at foursquare, and how they are
dealing with them.

We will also have lightning talks before, and social time after, the
main presentation.

We will be having beer and pizza kindly provided by LinkedIn for this
meeting as well. IMPORTANT. Please register at

register, there won't be enough to go around.

The newer facilities are once again available at LinkedIn for this
meeting, and the building is 2027 Stierlin - as you drive in along
Stierlin, just before you get to the square courtyard at the end turn
into 2027 and park around the back, you should see the BASE sign on
