That reminds me... People carpooling to Nomadic, what's the deal?
I know Jim has offered to drive, Lois wants to go (but I would guess
isn't driving?), I want to go but am not driving, Bryan expressed
some kind of interest but I'm not sure.
Is that everyone who expressed interest on Saturday? If so, we'd
all fit in Jim's car, and I guess Jim should say what the plan is.
If not... well, is anyone else interested in Nomadic? :)

I am interested in going on Saturday. I'm happy to carpool with
someone else, or can drive if other people need rides. I can take 3
passengers (4 total) in reasonable comfort as long as at least one
person isn't too tall.

I'm considering going down on Friday and coming back either Saturday
night or Sunday morning.
I have a cold, so I won't really know for sure until Friday.

I could fit 2 in my car, if I do go.

I'll probably stay in a hotel. Morgan will be with me, so under a bush
is probably out of the question.

Regarding this weekends Nomadic festival...

Jim has a total of 3 people in his car.
Bryan, if you want to go, perhaps you and Arthur could car pool.

Wait, did I miss someone? I counted:

Jim (driving)
Lois
Arthur
Bryan

which I believe is okay to fit in Jim's car (Jim plus 3 passengers).
Of course, it would help if Jim chimed in with his take on the plan...
Mark, I was counting you [and Matthew, and Matt #2] as neither needing
nor providing relevant rides; that's correct, isn't it?

Anyway, I'm going to try not to worry about it too much, and if
Jim's still silent by Friday afternoon, I'm going to call him.
Worse comes to worst, I have no objection to Bryan's driving, if
he doesn't. :)

I was hoping to go, but my car isn't reliable enough to venture past SB
county lines. Matthew T. is on his own as he wants to do a multiday trip or
no trip or something inbetween. Don't know about Matt G. If Bryan can
provide wheels, that would be marvie.

Use this map. It has notation related to the festival. Sat & Sun, they
suggest parking in Lot D. Burbank Blvd parking suggestion is for Thursday only.

I am still up for driving. So far it is Arthur and me in my car, and
maybe Mark now? If anyone else needs a ride, let me know. The
preliminary plan is to leave Santa Barbara around 10 am on Saturday,
and leave LA right after the show, but I could be persuaded to alter
that.

Jim informs me (via voicemail :P ) that he's taking Mark and Lois
and Bryan is taking me. Bryan agrees, so that sounds like a plan.
See you all there!*

(* Except Bryan, whom I will see here first.)

whew....I was on the edge of my seat! It was like a soap opera when
you try to figure out who is sleeping with whom.

Can't wait to see you all there.

We know how dull it is in yer neck of the woods, so we try to entertain.

But wait ... there's more! Monica, back on the edge!

My plans have changed.
I'm now planning on going down Saturday morning and coming back the same
night.
Which means Morgan & I could drive (or ride with) others.

I could take Arthur and Bryan, or I could ride with Bryan & Arthur, or I
could drive down separately.

Since the students are once again absent, we'll be juggling at Oak park for
the rest of December. I'll try get there by 2:30.

UCSB starts up again in early January.

Works for me. I think Oak Park is marginally closer to Thailand.

OTOH - I'll probably be too busy to pop by for juggling.

BTW - Saw a good solo juggler in Bangkok. Didn't get his name though.
