That reminds me... People carpooling to Nomadic, what's the deal? I know Jim has offered to drive, Lois wants to go (but I would guess isn't driving?), I want to go but am not driving, Bryan expressed some kind of interest but I'm not sure. Is that everyone who expressed interest on Saturday? If so, we'd all fit in Jim's car, and I guess Jim should say what the plan is. If not... well, is anyone else interested in Nomadic? :)
I am interested in going on Saturday. I'm happy to carpool with
someone else, or can drive if other people need rides. I can take 3
passengers (4 total) in reasonable comfort as long as at least one
person isn't too tall.

I'm considering going down on Friday and coming back either Saturday night or Sunday morning.
I have a cold, so I won't really know for sure until Friday.
I could fit 2 in my car, if I do go.
I'll probably stay in a hotel. Morgan will be with me, so under a bush is probably out of the question.

which I believe is okay to fit in Jim's car (Jim plus 3 passengers). Of course, it would help if Jim chimed in with his take on the plan... Mark, I was counting you [and Matthew, and Matt #2] as neither needing nor providing relevant rides; that's correct, isn't it?
Anyway, I'm going to try not to worry about it too much, and if Jim's still silent by Friday afternoon, I'm going to call him. Worse comes to worst, I have no objection to Bryan's driving, if he doesn't. :)

I was hoping to go, but my car isn't reliable enough to venture past SB county lines. Matthew T. is on his own as he wants to do a multiday trip or no trip or something inbetween. Don't know about Matt G. If Bryan can provide wheels, that would be marvie.

I would like to go down Saturday morning and return Saturday night.
I'm flexible about carpooling. Unfortunately, the rubber on my car
needs upgrading for trips out of town or I would have offered to
drive. Looks like 5 of us are definitely going. Bryan are you still
willing to drive to LAVC? And hey - Matt! get over that Hawaiian
airplane disease you caught and bring Morgan down so he can practice
his acrobatic hooping tricks!!
Parking at the college is on Burbank Boulevard. There's no parking on
campus. Monarch Hall is in the Campus Center building near Ethel St.
Here's a link to the campus map since the Nomadic website link didn't
work, locate E9:

I am still up for driving. So far it is Arthur and me in my car, and
maybe Mark now? If anyone else needs a ride, let me know. The
preliminary plan is to leave Santa Barbara around 10 am on Saturday,
and leave LA right after the show, but I could be persuaded to alter
that.

Jim informs me (via voicemail :P ) that he's taking Mark and Lois
and Bryan is taking me. Bryan agrees, so that sounds like a plan.
See you all there!*
-Arthur
(* Except Bryan, whom I will see here first.)

But wait ... there's more! Monica, back on the edge!
My plans have changed.
I'm now planning on going down Saturday morning and coming back the same night.
Which means Morgan & I could drive (or ride with) others.
I could take Arthur and Bryan, or I could ride with Bryan & Arthur, or I could drive down separately.
