I just got a notification from Leap Motion that I was accepted and they would be shipping me a free dev kit. They announced this morning that in the next 2 weeks they'll be sending out 10,000 new kits. Does anyone else have one?

I don't have one but I've been following and it looks awesome.Would you bring it in to the space to demo?

I'm incredibly interested. I haven't heard of this before (but I vaguely recall seeing something like it). Please do bring it into the space :) My mind is already buzzing with ideas. Can we get a robot chassis  and use its sensors to have it follow us around and respond to our hand commands?

Absolutely. When I receive it I'll start playing with it and send out an e-mail.

I'll have my leap motion this Friday and I'll start playing around with it this weekend.

@h02

I'm interested in learning more as well. What are you developing for the Leap?

I don't really have anything planned, just will be hacking around with it. I'd love to try to make some instruments with it, maybe something like a theremin would be a good POC.

I'd really like to investigate it as a 3d scanner, but probably won't have the time.

Can you plan a "show and tell" and announcement?

I could probably do a show and tell next weekend, unfortunately I haven't had as much time as I'd like to play with it due to work.
