Based on the info in the link, the canoe club looks very interesting.
It would be a relief for saturday house to not have to address the
basics (chairs, tables) and instead get down to business. A visit
would determine if this would work out. If the space lets people
solder and has nonfragile wifi then we have a potential match.
I've been working on what I still think of as Flannel Factor, which
has turned into Wearing That. It's a completely attainable mashup
project with enough snark to keep me interested. You can see a mockup
at wearingthat.com. And a blog. This is the only blog I have going
right now.
Looking at June, the only day we can host is June 6. So we're on at
the Grigg's at June 6. Address is 707 23rd Ave. E, accessible via the
43 and 48. In the music room I will attempt to workshop Microsoft the
Musical. (Yes, workshop can be a verb, love it). I will invite some
other groups for this to mix it up. The sun room can be "solder city"
if needed. Dining room table and kitchen table for misc. If people are
planning to run discussions during barcamp we can use this as prep. We
have a new router so we should be good there. A few days before we
will have hosted a birthday party for 20 of my son's special needs
classmates. Perhaps the oobleck will still be set up in the yard for
all ages fun. The water fountain at Miller is also walking distance.
Hours 11am - late (open ended). I'm personally hoping for a late
night. The only reason for an 11am start is to wrap up the cartoons
and cookie crisp rituals in time. If you're into those substances,
come early.
Hopefully this works for people. June 13 is barcamp, which would leave
June 20 and 27 for hiking and gasworks perhaps? Has this been decided?
Thanks to Justin for the nudge.

Thank you, Elizabeth;
I foolishly left my notebook at the Pelican Cafe the other day,
so I can't say for sure, (I'm about to retrieve it,) but, "Yes,
sounds good." {:)}=
I'll update when I get it back and figure it out.
Thanks so much! I'm so glad!

The email I received says:
-----------------
I have an e-vite out right now for the Microsoft the Musical workshop
I'll be doing at 4pm on Sat which you are all welcome to participate.
If you are coming to saturday house, regardless of your participation
in the workshop, please use the evite to RSVP.
E-vite can be a pain so you can also add your RSVP to this thread.
The URL goes to an e-vite, that says:

This is a musical whose time has come, but is not yet written. I have a few
scene ideas, some characters, but not much more than that. I'd like to get
some creative types in a room with some sticky notes and figure out more
details of the show.
If you enjoy art imitating life, connecting ideas together, and
brainstorming, please come to this event. We will have wine, snacks, and air
conditioning.
If you have material you'd like to workshop as well, please bring it.
I'm not trying to be irritating; I'm just trying to make sure people know
when they can show up at your house. {:)}=

I won't be able to make it either. Me and the Missus are taking some
time off to enjoy the weekend together.
That said, the reactable is still making progress. I recieved the IR
Leds, and I am working on setting up the power supply.
I have also broken down the project into tasks, so if anyone is
interested in helping, I have organized everything to help make it
easier. I will post more by Monday.
