Satchmo + Paypal + Pounds = Working Combination?

I need to set up a store in the UK. I plan on using a Paypal merchant
account and all payments will be in pounds. Is there any known
problems with this combo or any gotchas that people have come accross?

There was a recent thread about this. I think the final resolution was that you need to set Paypal to use UTF-8, and everything will work great.
