Hi all,
I'm playing with the last SVN release to test the multishop feature.

Since the documentation is really poor I'm going to ask some
questions.

- How can I call the different stores I configured in Satchmo? With
both the hosts I get always the same shop responding to the request.
- SVN trunk is able to run a real shop or I have to choose the stable
release?
- It seems that the Django permission system is not integrated in
Satchmo, is it?

Thanks in advance and many compliments for this wonderful piece of
code.

The multi-shop framework uses Django's site framework to host multiple items. Are you creating multiple sites (with valid addresses) and associating different items to the site?

You should use Satchmo trunk and Django 1.0 series. I'd recommend using the latest stable Django release but Django trunk should be ok too.

The django permissions are not integrated into Satchmo at this time.

I can't understand some things related to the sites management.

Why a product can be join to just one site? It would be interesting
sharing one or more products on different stores.

Thanks,
Giorgio

It was a design decision, mostly for speed.  M2M relationships take more queries, and this is a query done for almost every page load.  It is also not a common use-case.
