Note the last item:
Q. "What if a merchant does not comply? Is there a non-compliance fee?
A. "Yes. Merchants are obligated to support the requirements and make
the appropriate changes to support these transactions. The payment
card brands will be performing frequent "Compliance Monitoring" of
these rules changes and will follow through with the appropriate
parties if merchants are found to be non-compliant. The amount of fees
assessed will be as per the MasterCard and Discover association "non-
compliance" fines described in their operating regulations and rules.
For more information, please contact your Merchant Service Provider
(MSP)."
Curious if anyone else has seen this and has a strategy for making
this work with Satchmo.
Thanks for your time in advance!

We recently received an email from Authorize.net informing us of some
upcoming changes to MasterCard and Discover's rules regarding debit,
prepaid and gift cards. Here's Auth.net's FAQ on the subject:
http://www.authorize.net/support/pafaqs/
Thanks for the update. If I'm groking things correctly, the printed
balance is to let users know when their gift card balance exceeds the
current order cost. I.e., your order is $50, and you have $23 on your
gift card. Could be off base, though...
Thanks,
Brian
