Hello everybody,

I'm starting a new satchmo based project and considering Feefighter's
Samurai [1] as payment gateway and merchant account provider.

Has someone already done some work to integrate it with satchmo or is
everything still to do? I will release the code as open source if
nothing as been done yet.

As we are already discussing it, does somebody have any experience
with this particular service? Pros and cons?

Cheers,
Jonathan

I am not familiar with this gateway. Since there is a python API, it doesn't look like it would be terribly difficult. I'd use the existing authorize.net code as a basis and incorporate their API to make the authorization calls.

Does the authorize.net plugin use the Direct Post Method [1] or the Advanced Integration Method [2]? (I'm writing from my phone just now, can't check ;-) )

Which means that you have to comply with PCI level D instead of A if I'm not mistaken!
