Lent 2008
Dear friends,
Spiritual smallness, I am learning, is a virtue. Lent is when we get honest with ourselves about how small we really are.
By grace, my small books are still out there, opening little cracks in portals that give me glimpses of various things God is up to. One of those things is the extraordinary way he is using <http://www.saraharthur.com/writing/dailygrind/dailygrind.htm> The One Year Daily Grind to touch one life at a time. Thanks to all of you who have written to me, sharing your stories! Meanwhile, <http://www.saraharthur.com/writing/imagination/imagination.htm> The God-Hungry Imagination has gotten on the radar of some of my heroes in the world of ministry. It's now being taught at Princeton Seminary, will be featured at the Prelude <http://www.youthfrontzone.com/index.cfm?PAGE_ID=3606&EXPAND=> Gathering in Kansas City before the "Everything Must Change" tour with Brian McClaren (in April), and has paved the way for me to lead two seminars at the National <http://www.youthspecialties.com/events/> Youth Workers Convention in Nashville this November. With each small crack in each new portal, I feel like a young child stepping further in and still further in, thinking, "this must be a simply enormous wardrobe!" The inside is larger than the outside. Small is the new big.
Other schtuff:
Right now I'm running a 6-book special <http://www.saraharthur.com/order/index.htm> through my website in which you can purchase all 6 of my titles for one price, $56.95, which includes free shipping.
Know any graduates? The One Year Daily Grind makes a great graduation gift for high school and college students--I can even personalize copies ordered through my website if you email me the details.
Also, I love to have visitors on my blogs! Check out & comment on

The story of Jesus is about him--not about someone else, or about nobody in particular, or about all of us.
