Expect to use the features out of box, customization is really painful. Make sure that the features it provides exactly suits the needs of your sales process. 2. Upgrades are super painful. 3. Self hosting / performance is also painful to deal with. 4. Expect to pay a ton for support from dev shops to deal with 1-3. Overall i feel salesforce is the best tool on the market if you want flexibility and the exact fit for what your sales team/managers need. It is super expensive though :( On Fri, Feb 10, 2012 at 4:33 PM, Wjhonson wrote: > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CiviCRM > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: James Hackett > To: santacruzgeeks > Sent: Fri, Feb 10, 2012 4:19 pm > Subject: [santacruzgeeks] CiviCRM > > Hi Geeks, > > Anyone out there got any experience with CiviCRM and interested/willing to give > some feedback, answer some questions for one of our customers? > > Thanks, > James > Cruzio > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Santa > Cruz Geeks" group. > To post to this group, send email to santacruzgeeks@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to santacruzgeeks+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/santacruzgeeks?hl=en. > > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Santa Cruz Geeks" group. > To post to this group, send email to santacruzgeeks@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > santacruzgeeks+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/santacruzgeeks?hl=en. > --20cf3005123066b64604b8a57330 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Quick points about civicrm:
