The Sammys! the UCSC Game Design Major Awards Show

Hi fellow geeks, June 15th will be the second annual Sammys, the awards show for the Game Design program at UC Santa Cruz. The show is from 7-10pm at the El Rio, and tickets for the Santa Cruz community are $5. Register in advance because we can't sell tickets at the door! 

This is a really fun event, especially if you know kids who are thinking of studying Computer Science -- last year we had some parents bring their high school kids and they LOVED it. Also if you're curious about the game design program and want to know more about it, feel free to touch base with me -- I run the Center for Games and Playable Media in the School of Engineering, our game design and technology research center.
