Cyphers and Cryptography with Kai

Think secure communication is just for computers? We'll cover basic pen-and-paper encryption and decryption methods, including rail ciphers, substitution, and more. We'll talk about history, strengths, and weaknesses of various methods with lots of opportunity to play with codes and ciphers.
Prerequisites: A strong command of English and a quick mind are useful tools for this class.
Requirements: A pen/pencil and paper.
AFTERWARDS, join us for the UBEW Meet and Geek at the Crepe Place at 7:30pm, our monthly social get together for geeks and geek-curious. Join us on Thursday at the Crepe Place as we hang out with fellow geeks, drink beer (optional), meet and conspire. We've done this once a month for years and have gathered a charming little community of rad geeks.
