Geeks,

Friend of mine reached out recently with an urgent question regarding the iPhone app approval process.  Figured if anyone would have an answer to this, it would be this crowd. Any thoughts/advice that I can share with Eoin would be appreciated... even if he's simply screwed.

Hi Sean,

I hope you are keeping well, we are experiencing California type weather at the moment in Dublin it was 22 degrees on Sunday, 20 today, just beautiful.

I want to run something by you very quickly..

We have been busy developing an app for the Digital Media Awards here in Dublin
http://digitalmedia.ie/ and submitted the iPhone app to apple 12 days ago. Yesterday we got notice to say it was rejected because we didn't state that the competition in the app was not an apple competition, I should have known this but missed it! We resubmitted the app yesterday but I feel its unlikely they will get it approved by Friday when the event is on - however having said that its only one page in the app that they need to look at. Just wondering if there was anyone you knew that could put a word in for us and maybe mark this urgent? 600 odd Irish Digital Media heads will miss out on a great app this Friday which would be a shame:) If there is anything you can do it would be a great help to us.

The app is titled 'DMA 2012'

Many thanks,
Eoin

Apple has an official process for requesting an expedited review. I've never used it, but it's worth a try:
