The Candidate can be expected to:

� Be an integral part of the design as well as development process;
� Work on a broad set of technologies from web technologies to
lower-level networking;
� Database performance profiling and optimization experience in
PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle;
� Software performance profiling and optimization;
� Good root cause analysis and communication skills;
� Ability to help others diagnose performance bottlenecks;
� Virtualization experience a plus;
� Create applications using primarily Python a plus;
� Berkeley DB a plus;

Skills and Core Requirements:

� Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent;
� At least 5 years technical experience;
� 3+ years experience in software engineering;
� Familiarity with C++/C and/or Python a must;
� Familiarity with Linux;
� Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills;
� Excellent team working skills;
� Strong networking knowledge;
