Subject: Win $10K cash for a mobile prototype .... no it's not sp@m!

Happy day after the sound assault on Santa Cruz,

There's a *wee* bit of my opinion about how we celebrate the 4th in Santa
Cruz. Meanwhile, back on point. I want to alert you all to a contest that
is running on TD Ameritrade here:

http://www.tdameritrademobilecontest.com/

They are looking for awesome developers (like YOU) to submit prototypes for
the winning ideas that were submitted by the community in the last few
months. The Angry Birds + TD Ameritrade (
http://www.tdameritrademobilecontest.com/idea/td-ameritrade-game) mashup is
my favorite.

If you read the fine print at the bottom, you'll see that the fine folks at
productOps are not eligible to participate in the contest. That's because
we built the site. However, if you don't work for us (or TD Ameritrade or
PricewaterhouseCoopers) YOU are eligible to participate. The contest is
currently accepting prototypes for the top 10 ideas that were submitted.
The prototypes can consist of any of the following: design documentation,
wireframes, code samples, demo applications, mock-ups, and screen shots. 5
prototypes will be selected as winners for prizes of $10,000 each.

Guess what? There are only 10 prototypes submitted! Take a look at the
submission and you'll see it wouldn't be hard to out perform the current
submissions. Odds of winning are pretty darn good.

The contest closes Monday, July 9 at 9PM PST. So you only have 5 days left.
Go prototype an app and then rally some Kudos from your fellow geeks!

Cheers, Margaret
