Query on name of the 70th birth-anniversary

In South India, people celebrate their 70th birth-anniversary day as ‘Bhima Ratha Santi’ (भीम रथ शांति ) utsavam. (I hope my Sanskrit spelling is correct).
I wonder why the 70th anniversary is so called?
