Having known A.Flory & the entire Cordeiro Clan in Africa & in Goa,.. on behalf of Mum & Fiona, I would like to convey our condolences to her daughters - Maura, Merlyn, Mavis, May, Milena & their respective families;  & to the family of late Malvina.

It seems as if the Cordeiro family has had a surfeit of grief  since the last few months - our thoughts & prayers are with each family, many members of whom are personally known to me since I was a child.

May the Lord grant A.Flory eternal rest & peace.

Dear Mavis, Maura, Merlyn, May & Milena,
I read this e-mail early this morning and left for work with a heavy heart. I am truly sorry to hear that your Mum had passed on. I will always remember her kindness and the sense of inner peace that radiated from her during my youth in Saligao. My heart goes out to you Mavis, Maura, Merlyn, May & Milena and to your families and Malvina's family too. Our Prayers are with you all for strength and for your Mum's eternal repose. You have lost a dearly loved one and we have lost a friend & a village icon. Please accept this net note as a sign of our togetherness with you, during this difficult time. I do not have your individual e-mails and had to do it this way.
Love
Chris, Lynda, Alison & Julian De Souza

Dear Saligaonkars
Sad to hear about the death of Flory Cordeiro. She was indeed a dynamic person who brought up her children with love and affection after the death of her husband. She was cheerful ever smiling, loving etc etc. A great musician and a singer. Heartfelt sympathies to Maura, Chick and fly, Mavies, Milena, May, and Merlyn . It must have been quiet hurting and sorrowful for the family to part with their mother their loving mother.

I echo the sentiments expressed by everyone who has offered words of comfort and consolation to the "Cordeiro sisters" as they are affectionately known.  A. Flory was a much-loved lady, well known for her gentle and kinde-hearted spirit.  May her memory live on in the hearts and minds of all those who knew and loved her.

Nothing any of us do or say will be able to erase the pain and sorrow all of you feel right now, but - nonetheless - we offer our sincerest words of comfort to all of you, her children, as well as to the rest of the family.

Dear Maura, Merlyn, Mavis, May and Milena

Your mother was such a special person - always smiling, gentle, caring and encouraging.....one could not have imagined that she was carrying such great responsibilities singlehandedly when you were all growing up.  It was a real pleasure to meet her recently when I was down in Goa and she looked just the same - very pretty, smiling and so affectionate . I am sure you will all miss her very very much. I have no doubt she is blessed and happy and will continue to stay around you and bless you all.....much love, Norma

Dear Maura, Merlyn, Mavis, May and Milena and your respective families,

Your Mum was an shining example to everyone around - unassuming, kind, soft-spoken and with a friendly twinkle in her eye. Please accept my family's deepest sympathies on her passing away. Illness knows no bounds, and this month of April is more than a reminder to me of death anniversaries in my own family.

Take courage in the fact that your Mum left her mark on this world and especially in Saligao. It is difficult, but remembering her in happier times gone by will make her spirit live on and help you get on with your lives.

I will be in Goa from around the 10th of April, and do hope that I will will be able to symphatize with you personally.

Sincerely,

Merwyn (Sequeira)
