Elizabeth,

>4.  For those of us who are interested in sharing some of the 24 chickens

now, how are we going to coordinate for those of us who want to purchase now?

Good question!  I am very embarrassed to have to say that I hadn't
thought this through.  I would say that anyone who is interested can e-
mail me and let me know how many they would like and we will just do
"first come, first serve".  Then we can try and coordinate how we are
going to do this because I have sort of a complicated dilemma on my
hands!  I forgot that the delivery date in McKinney for the chickens
is this weekend and we are planning a trip out of town. (This is what
happens when I don't immediately write things down on my calendar)  I
can solve this problem by going out to Rehoboth Ranch this week before
we leave and picking them up--but that doesn't solve the problem of
getting them to anyone who wants them and I can't store all of them in
my freezer since limited freezer space is the reason I am parting with
them in the first place! *Sigh*

I was sitting here trying to think of a solution for this complicated
mess.  First of all, if this is going to be doable, I will need to
know within the next couple of days, how many chickens everyone wants.
They are 3-4 lbs. each and the price is $3.49/lb.  Next, I will need
to know if and when you can come to McKinney to pick them up and
when.  Then I can plan a trip to Rehoboth Ranch and coordinate a pick-
up time and location in McKinney with everyone.

So, if after reading about this mess, you and/or anyone else are still
interested, e-mail me at debrafr...@wildblue.net and we'll see what we
can do! :-)
