Father S and our son Tim cut down that big, dead pecan tree on the west side of our parking lot. There are a LOT of dead branches to take care of. But that is no fun!
SO....
Let's have a bonfire, and burn up that wood, and roast hot dogs and make some-mores, and drink hot chocolate! We can counteract the evil spirits that will be out the day before on halloween by telling wonderful true stories about angels and saints as we sit around the bon-fire. We will start around 6ish, but whenever you can get there is great. Please RSVP so we have some idea how much food to have. No costumes, please!

IF this permit comes thru, which I didn't even think about (thanks, Deborah) then bring whatever you think your kids will be most interested in. Just let me know what that is, so I know what other stuff to get. I was thinking:
hot dogs
buns
ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish
graham crackers
big marshmallows
chocolate bars
hot chocolate mix
apples and dip sounds good, too.
chips?

We'll be there! Would you rather I brought smores stuff or apples with dip? On 10/31/2012 1:58 PM, Marina Holland wrote:

Debra just emailed me and said that we don't need a permit! So what time are we meeting? 6:30?
I'll bring graham crackers, apples and dip, maybe some carrots and dip (so we can pretend this is a healthy dinner : )), and big marshmallows if Aldi's has them.
