Hello Sahngnoksoo Members and Friends!

There is an awesome event that we are hosting this Saturday at the Wing Luke Asian Museum in conjunction to the "Still Present Pasts" exhibit that the museum currently has on display about the Korean War.

Our very own Pilseong Chung will be a guest chef, and will be teaching folks how to make two Korean dishes: 1) Buddae Jigae,
a thick Korean soup that has connections to militarism and the Korean War and 2) Kimchi, a delicious pickled side dish.

The cooking demonstration will be fun and interactive and a great way to not only learn how to make these dishes, but to also learn about the historical significance that each of them hold.

Tickets are $8 for Members and $10 for general admission. Demonstration is limited to 15 people, so please hit me back asap if you want to attend!

WHEN: Saturday, March 28th. 11am-12:30pm
WHERE: Wing Luke Asian Museum, Community Hall.
719 S King St.
