I have a vague feeling it might be called Mt Moon. _Please wait_ before
contacting the landowner, as last year (or maybe it was 2010) an
unlicensed, untrained rogue PG pilot tresspasser whom none of us had
ever heard of flew from that hill and had to be rescued from the trees
(Stuart might recall more). So I expect that if it's private property
the landowner will not have a positive view of us.

I've cc'd this to the HG list because there will be plenty of old farts
who will know the hill and who will probably have flown it, and may have
suggestions for you to contact. Details anyone? Could you maybe keep
Geoff &/0r Pebo in the loop as well, please?

There's another ridge further north of the town that used to get flown a
lot by HG, I forget its name; didn't Migs (and you?) and a few others
fly there last year?
Cheers
Helen

Yes that is the place where a rouge PG pilot had an incident - and yes it use to be flown but I not sure of details at the moment need so history here , I also seem to vaguely recall it has a small airstrip (crop duster paddock size) on it?

I have added a page for it on the site guide so If any body has details please fill in the site guide
you will need to log in with the same name and password you use for the sahpga group

A request the site guide is meant to be a living document of all SA NT sites that;
are flown / have been flown / have been investigated
- if we can keep the records then
- it will help prevent people saturating owners,
- it will record the info so it does not get lost again and again
- it will help people get in the air
- its a place where we can keep protected non public records of landowner contact details
- ... so many more reasons why this is important...
- the site guide is editable by all sahpga group members
- and is where we want to keep all the information good and bad about a site
- so if you have done the leg work please record it so its not lost
- I can create as many pages as you need for a full record, I don't care if it looks ugly when you type it in as long as the info goes into it
