I have a vague feeling it might be called Mt Moon. _Please wait_ before
contacting the landowner, as last year (or maybe it was 2010) an
unlicensed, untrained rogue PG pilot tresspasser whom none of us had
ever heard of flew from that hill and had to be rescued from the trees
(Stuart might recall more). So I expect that if it's private property
the landowner will not have a positive view of us.
I've cc'd this to the HG list because there will be plenty of old farts
who will know the hill and who will probably have flown it, and may have
suggestions for you to contact. Details anyone? Could you maybe keep
Geoff &/0r Pebo in the loop as well, please?
There's another ridge further north of the town that used to get flown a
lot by HG, I forget its name; didn't Migs (and you?) and a few others
fly there last year?
Cheers
Helen
