Dear Sahana Community:
I wanted you to mark your calendars and save the dates for the 2012 Sahana Software Foundation Annual Meeting.
This year, it will take place May 26-28 in New York City (That is Memorial Day weekend in the US). We are in the process of planning several events to make your time here of great value. Taking some cue from the feedback from last year's great meeting in Lisbon, we are definitely going to build in some time for purely social events to allow for some sightseeing. And I hope to welcome you all to my home in Brooklyn for a barbeque one evening.
We are also hoping to organize a SahanaCamp for the local jurisdictions and charitable organizations interested in deploying Sahana software during the week preceding or following our annual meeting, and we're looking for space to allow for those interested in staying a few extra days to work together to participate in an informal code and parallel documentation sprint - perhaps to address some of the requirements identified by local agencies during the SahanaCamp.
More details will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.
Best regards,
Mark
