I have an experimental integrated VirtualBox/SageVM installer here:

There are some problems with the ssh keys / ssh daemon, so normal
notebook works but the preconfigured multiuser server won't. Fix:
After starting the VM download this patch and run it (put it into
directory /root/Startup to be persistent).

Beta version of the installer, got it even smaller (482 MB total)
