Since people are pushing me for a quick sage-5.2 release, I propose to
fix the sage-5.2 "feature freeze" date at 10 July. Any ticket which
does not have positive_review or which still has some issues on that
date will likely be postponed to sage-5.3.

Contrary to what people asked me, I will not make sage-5.2 a
"notebook-only" release. Other tickets will be merged also.

Jeroen.

Just an idea, since there is a Sage Days happening July 9-13, does it
make sense to have the feature freeze at the end of that meeting? Say
Friday the 13th is the last day to contribute?

As usual, thank you for all your hard work.

To be honest, I prefer to stick to 10 July. I foresee to have some time
during that week to work on the release.

Considering that sage-5.2 should be all about the notebook and the Sage
workshop is not notebook-related, I think it's not a problem if the work
of that workshop is merged in sage-5.3.

If it suits your schedule better, then 10 July is better. Thanks for
considering it!

This is greatly appreciated.  Of course, now some others of us will have to work on spreading the word when it comes out!
