Ouch! is correct. That error implies that something is really wrong =
with the version of the jmol.spkg you are using. That error used to =
occur using an old version of the headless application to server images. =
Which version is installed? The installed version is looking for an =
XWindows server. It shouldn't be, and shouldn't need it. If you are =
using the properly up-to-date versions this does not occur. I routinely =
run my sage server on a machine without any GUI inside a screen session =
and do not see this. Very odd...

switch or possibly a version upgrade would take care of it. It looks =
like you're actually using -Djava.awt.headless=3Dtrue, so maybe the =
problem is that we have GNU jdk installed, and it's old as well.
