Dear Sage/Sage-Combinat developers,

With Vincent Delecroix, we are finalizing the review of #7004. This
implements the interface to dot2tex/graphviz for graph layout and
latex output, a long and often requested feature. It should be ready
tomorrow or so, and good to go in 4.4.1 (finally!)

The features in #7004 depend on two things:

- The graphviz binaries to be installed on the system, say via the
graphviz spkg (graphviz being most likely not GPL-compatible,
according to previous discussions here)

- dot2tex (a pure python GPL library)

I posted a spkg for dot2tex on

http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7004

I thereby volunteer to maintain this spkg for the next couple years
(but if someone else wants to take over, so much the better!)

This e-mail is a call for:

- A technical review by some spkg expert; that should be quick, as it
only contains the pristine dot2tex sources + a micro patch being
upstreamed + another micro Sageonic patch

- Votes for inclusion in standard/optional/experimental

I personally vote for optional, but if you twist my arm, standard is
of course good :-)

Best,
Nicolas
