ARM compilation of sage progress

I'm compiling right now on my SheevaPlug (ARM, running Ubuntu 9.04).
The build fails on a number of packages: fortran, lapack, atlas,
linbox, blas, matplotlib, singular, and R. I'm trying the latest
version of numpy to see if I can get the build process to actually
finish.

I'm on a brilliant Australian ADSL2+ plan with 1Gb quota per MONTH
(upload and download combined) so providing binaries is a bit tricky
right now. Next month should be better.

Have you had any success so far? I am also trying to compile it in a
nokia n900, and the build process is stuck in the atlas package.
