CTC crossed the 5000 member mark today!

As of 1:35am today we got 5004 members in our Google Group 

CTC was born (went online) on 20 Feb 2008, around 21 months ago (250 new members/month) after a few trekking enthusiasts from CISCO Thoraipakkam published their 10 previous trekking adventures online and set up an online registration to find other like-minded souls out there

We completed more then 170 treks, 10 social treks (soon to increase much faster), 20 educational workshops (soon to cover more topics) and one environmental trip (stay tuned - soon coming more)

Our web site www.ChennaiTrekkers.org received 97642 hits since we came online.

Our members captured more then 25.000 photographs.

We got a large "core group" of volunteers/organizers which keeps the group going at full speed every single weekend of the year

CTC is a unique group - explores without pre-existing trails, fully driven by selfless volunteers, open for all to join, amazing team-spirit during our treks

People from across the planet are following our amazing weekly adventures...
