I am interested in helping a company with high integrity reach its goals and

willing and able to supervise people. I am an avid reader and quick to learn.
I have a technical and an administrative background. I have excellent
communication skills and I like with people.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
11/88 TO PRESENT - BUSINESSMAN - I operate a painting and decorating company. I
obtained a California contractors license in the painting and decorating field.
I have employeed up to seven employees and performed work in several different
cities. I planned and organized the daily workload including marketing and
expansion. I was responsible for staffing the company including the
administrative and the labor force. I trained the foreman and supervisors in
the aspects of what the companyźs goals and objectives were. I then directed
their efforts toward that end. I initiated checks and controls to ensure a
quality product. I managed contracts, estimating, financial and legal matters.
COMPUTER USER - I have been using computers for many years. I use both IBM PCźs
and Macintosh Power PCźs. I am proficient with DOS, Windows 3.0, 3.1 and 95. I
use computers daily in my business to produce financial reports,
contracts/proposals, invoices, letters, books and marketing materials. In the
pursuit of the above outputs, I required myself to master several software
packages including Microsoft Office. I have used the above mentioned PC
platforms for thousands of hours.
8/19/85 to 5/1991 SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Naval Weapons
Center, China Lake, California, Thermal Research Branch - (GS-12) - I operated a
Thermal Research Testing Facility tasked with performing explosive tests. I was
appointed by the base commander to the position of Firing Officer. I was
responsible for conducting and managing the tests, including overseeing and
enforcing life and death safety regulations in the test area. My task was to
perform standard and non-standard tests, scheduling the test events, planning
and organizing the details of every test. I designed test layout and
configuration. I directed test specimen assembly, fabrication and
instrumentation, final positioning and the actual test procedure. These
specimens contained new and experimental explosives and propellants. These
items were heated in various ways usually ending in violent destruction. The
testing process included gathering data using instrumentation to measure heat
and pressure. Audio and video were used to record the events. IBM and HP 9845
computers were used to gather and compile the data. I was responsible for
quality control of the test itself and the resultant data.
6/75 to 8/85 SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Naval Weapons Center,
China Lake, California, Environmental Engineering Branch, Non Destructive Test
Section - (GS-11) - I functioned as a senior technician in a NDT facility. 75%
of my work involved working with high energy radiography. X-ray was the primary
function of this section, explosive devices were internally examined. Other
functions of the facility were helium leak testing, ultrasonic, dye penetrant,
boroscope inspection and physical properties. I was in charge of facility
maintainence and preventitive maintainence of all equipment.
