Hello all,

So I am looking to spice up the emails that are sent after a user accepts/declines an event from OS X.

For example, Person A sends a regular calendar invitation from Outlook (they are not using a SabreDAV server).

Person B  who has their OS X calendar synced with a SabreDAV server gets the email, and clicks the invitation.  The event is added to their calendar.  Person B accepts the event.

The Outlook user then receives an e-mail in the form:
(null) has accepted your invitation to the event: BBB, scheduled for May 23, 2013.

My question is, what exactly is sending the above e-mail?  Person B's mail server? Or the webserver hosting SabreDAV?

I just tested messing around with Sabre_CalDAV_Schedule_IMip::sendMessage(), but I could not modify the contents of the above email.

This is sent by iCal / Mail.app

The only reason IMip exists is because iCal has a bug that causes it to sometimes ask the server to send the email. The behavior is a bit erratic, and sometimes iCal will handle email, sometimes the server will.
