Over weekend a friend helped me with some bicycle upgrades. This friend had
a "Ultimate Slide Lock" bicycle repair stand. I really liked this repair
stand and would like to obtain one for myself. It easily held my BikeE
recumbent and was extremely solid construction; yet easily foldable for
storage.

Anyone know a source for this stand. It was bought a couple years ago from
one of the big bicycle mail order (Performance or Nashbar) houses. It is no
longer listed in either catalog..

Yes, I have one of these too, bought from Performance. They are now
available from Nashbar as a "Wrench Force" Pro Bike Repair Stand #
WF-PRS ($219.95 - $20 more than I remember paying 5? years ago). An
excellent workstand, and great to hear that it will also work on the
BikeE beam! I think I will have to make some custom jaws to grab a 2"
monotube tho.

Vision sells clamp that will work in most any work stand that will hold
very large tubes--I would guess up to about 4 inches. I just bought one,
and it works just fine to hold my bikes, which have a 2-inch monotube
frame. Check their web site.
