You are invited to a one-day mini conference to celebrate World IA Day (WAID) on Saturday the 11th of February 2011.
Venue: The auditorium of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA) at the University of Johannesburg, Bunting Road Campus, Auckland Park, Johannesburg.

What is information architecture design?
Information Architecture (IA) has been described as the “The structural design of shared information environments” and provides methods, tools and techniques critical to providing the underlying structure of user experiences. Often described as ‘the design behind the design’ IA has made its biggest impact in the design of user experiences for the Web, however more recently it is increasingly being acknowledged as a critical tool for designing usable, effective and integrated cross-channel customer experiences.
