For all of those that have travelled down to the Cape for the Little Crake, hopefully you can get this news in time as well...:)
Martie de Wijn has just been in touch to let me know that they are currently watching a FRANKLIN’S GULL on Pan P1 at Strandfontein Sewage Works.
Wilfred Chivell has also been in touch to let me know that there is a male SOUTHERN ELEPHANT SEAL on the main Hawston beach at the moment. It would appear to be the same animal that came ashore at Olifantsbos a few weeks ago.
Now to decide which way to chase off to...:)
