Malcolm Wilson has confirmed that the EUROPEAN NIGHTJAR is once again viewable in his garden this morning and is apparently sitting out on an open branch, so makes for reasonable photographic opportunities as well. So, as a reminder to the Gauteng birders who are keen to get a look at this bird for their local lists, the address is 19 Esmarelda Crescent, Robindale in Randburg. Malcolm might well be out intermittently today, so please phone ahead to ensure that he is at home when you want to visit – you can reach him at 083 633 0749.
Good luck!
Kind regards
Trevor
