Digby Cyrus has just been in touch to let me know that he has found an adult SOOTY TERN at the mouth of the Umfolozi River in Kwazulu Natal this morning. It is associating with other terns in the roost there and apparently, the bird is quite mobile and is also moving between there at the St Lucia mouth a bit further down the beach.
