Apologies for not responding earlier....
10 Bit is welcome to join, please provide me with names and emails to get your access pass to. Responding to this thread with your full name will work as agreement.
We have 3 tents in Palm Park (3rd and 35 access rd down town). One is dedicated to a geek/maker/creater science fair type thing.
It's on the last day of interactive, the 13th, Tuesday next week. Hours are 10-6pm (hard cut off) set up starts at 9am with a possible earlier access time to be decided this weekend after they get set up.
For the 1st tent: we have power points but likely no way to get them where you need them so bring extension cords and surge protectors/squid splitters. Depending on how SXSW you might receive a gold badge for presenting but this is not a promise. If you dont' get an access email within the next 24 hours we will have a way to get you on site, but you will need to be there during set up to get a temporary badge.
I would suggest that you bring promotional stuff for 10 bit to hand out, TABC is on site for alcohol but they are giving away drinks based on your rfid in your badge and limited to two. TABC also mandates you don't sell while giving away so that's the limit for the day. Also TABC says no other alcohol on site, so "don't bring your own." You may not care, but i'll leave you to interpret my quote marks.
The 3rd tent is for simulcasting the main speakers for the day and other broadcast sxsw events.
2nd tent is for on stage presentations, here's that schedule:
