SWF with ActionScript

Hello

I'm trying to make a flash file with actionscript for updating weather
forecast.

When i run the flash in s3mer it doesn't fetch the data.
Can someone tell me why?

Admin site enhanced with Google Gears

On the next release we will pull the logo of every rss feed even
custom ones. For now we only have a few of the most popular logos all
other feeds use a generic logo.

You can request to add a logo for a site that interests you while the
next version comes out.

icons in rss feeds missing

Hello,
I have put up some local rss feeds, but I have no icons like the ones
I get with bbc and cnn. I have tried different feeds here in Norway
but none load their logos. Is this in the application or a reference
in the rss.xml file?

s3mer Player Now Works on Linux

We are happy to announce that the s3mer player application now works
great on Linux. We have tested it on Ubuntu Desktop but we are very
interested in hearing from the experience in other distributions.

This development now enables customers to deploy digital signage
players at a fraction of the cost of Windows XP or Mac OS X PC.

We are happy to announce that the admin site is open again. We hope
this helps clarify that we are not having downtime. The decision to
close the admin portion of the site was made as a precaution while we

I understand the beta nature of the product however most betas don't
just die one day.
By beta I would expect some snags, send in a ticket and be part of the
testing process.
Help troubleshoot issues, actively help you find and resolve issues.

s3mer is in a beta process that means that its working its way up to
get ready for production use. The 1.0 version will be ready for
production use and it will be available very soon. Like with all
products in beta it should not be used in a real world scenario.

Yea I think we all gave up a month ago.
Looked like a cool idea but any hope of reliability went out the door
with the eternal outage.
Not a service I would pay for, and now not one I would even take for free.
Each day I walk past the blank lobby monitor, and my boss asks when I
am going to fix it.
