ABOUT SSPACE FORMAT

Hi.this is Veron from China.I run the lsa.jar as follows "java -jar /bin/lsa.jar -d corpus.txt -o text myspace.sspace".And there is messy code in the .sspace in the UBUNTU.But it goes right in Windows.So what can i do to get it right?Thanks.

Hi Veron,

  The .sspace format has a 2-byte header with some .sspace formatting information.  I just generated a text-formated .sspace file on a linux system and I see "^@s^@" at the start.  Is this what you're seeing?  I believe that should be present on a Windows system as well, but I don't have one handy to test it.  Could you give us more information about what is messy?  Also, is there a reason you're using the text format instead of the binary format?
