Mission call
	Russell has received his mission call. He will be serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has been call to the Slovenia-Croatia mission. The mission covers the six countries that used to be Yugoslavia. He will be learning Serbian, which means he will most likely be near Belgrade, Serbia. 	Russell is planning on playing in the Rocky Mountain School of Baseball fall baseball tournament in St. George Utah. The dates will be October 26, 27 and 28th. 	On the Road to Provo
	Russell and I are planning on leaving tomorrow night for Provo. We are planning on meeting with Ryan Roberts and Bobby Applegate about the possibility of Russell playing for BYU. Hitting the Road, on the way to Washington State

Yesterday we left for Centralia, Washington. Russell and I are going to meet the baseball coach there and see what we like about the junior college. We stopped in Boise on the way at about 4:30. We met Rusty Keith there. He has been the coach at Northwest Nazarene College in Boise. He will is now the new coach at Winatchee Valley College. 	After the game last night, Nick Orgill, the pitching coach for the Russets gave me the name of Bob Duda from Winatchee Valley Baseball as a good contact for college baseball. 	District Tournament Game 2 vs Twin Falls
	Last night was game two of the tournament. The Russets were the 2nd seed. Twin Falls was the 1st seed. Twin Falls won their game the previous day 19 to 3 I believe, so both teams had plenty of pitchers available. 	Last night was a good game all around. The whole team played well. Things were close though until the end. Russell went 2 for 3 from the plate with a fly out, a walk, a double and a 2 RBI single near the end. He also came in and pitched the last two innings, allowing no runs.
