Hello Runners,

This one time, I don't want to miss the opportunity to be the first to acknowledge the great work done by TEAM RFL.
Gopi and I travelled together in the car and although one has been to ONV before, because you are a bit tense, you begin to say 'I hope I am on the right track.' That was not an issue because there were clear road signs all along the way.
On landing up, we parked the car on the road, some distance away from the car park. What did it say to me? Ultra has become more popular than the previous years and the car park is full. Great feeling again. It was a good idea to introduce 12.5 KM to let runners have an exposure to the big time runs.
The arrangement, the stage management to route marking, the support all along the way were super. Other marathon organizers could pick up a lot of lessons from the way the event was managed.
To see Mr. Honda run was an experience by itself. He seemed to be meditating on his feet and running along effortlessly might consider to honour him any which that seems appropriate. Was there any doubt that we will see Ashok come first in the 50 K category?

Great show, TEAM RFL.

The pity is that such a big event receives so little media attention but then running is not cricket.

DK
