I used to work in NYC for years so my best guess is that he's referring
to "Midtown" Manhattan, or the heart of New York City.

I'm a New Yorker myself, so obviously that had occurred to me. :)
However, this is an international list, and there's really no way to
know for certain absent more information from the recruiter.

Is that US dollars or Australian dollars? Or some other sort of dollars?
